Nigel's passion for photography has made him one of Melbourne's most distinctive and creative documentary photographers. His background in arts and science and his press background leaves him well placed to undertake work in design, corporate and industrial sectors. This variety of work has assisted in developing a versatility and wealth of knowledge that has helped him evolve and refine his practice. He also worked across all genres of photography through various commissions and freelance work. For more than 20 years, Nigel developed his love of street photography and photojournalism through his work with local and state newspapers. He began developing his passion for photography and fine art at PIC and graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts in the early 1990's. After abandoning a blossoming career as a professional musician, while working as a geologist, Nigel, discovered a love of photography. (more).
